Indulge in a bespoke Christmas-themed Traditional High Tea designed by Head Chef Rob Crichton. Spend time with Santa at your own pace, with the option of capturing your own photo memories or have our professional photographer take your photo with Santa.

Bookings available from Saturday 13 November until Friday 24 December.

Session times:

8.30am – 10am

10.30am – 12pm

Ticket Prices:

Adult tickets: $70 (inc. GST and booking fees)

Children tickets: $49 (inc. GST and booking fees)

Please note: if a children’s ticket is selected, a discount will be applied to your cart to reflect the children’s ticket price point.

Ticket price includes at least 2 digital photos. Guests are also invited to take photos with Santa on their own device.

Tickets must be purchased by patrons 18 years or older. All children under 18 years must be accompanied by a guardian or parent.

Whilst our team works our best work to dietary requests, a field for entering your dietary requests is available for you to fulfil upon confirmation of booking.

Mandatory government-issued COVID-restrictions in place at the time of your session will be strictly followed and implemented by the Experience Team including the potential requirement of wearing of masks for Santa Photography.

Bookings are essential. Walk-ins will not be accepted.

DO I NEED TO BOOK MY VISIT WITH SANTA?

Yes. QVB Santa Experiences are only accessible via a booking. Walk-ins are not accepted. Click here to book your visit with Santa.

WHAT ARE THE DATES AND TIMES FOR THE SANTA EXPERIENCES?

High Tea with Santa commences from Saturday 13 November 2021 until Christmas Eve, 24 December 2021 on selected days. 90-minute time slots are available between 8.30am – 10am and 10.30am – 12pm.

Sensory High Tea with Santa commences from Thursday 2 December 2021 until Saturday 18 December 2021 on selected days. 45-minute time slots are available between 7.30am – 8.15am.

HOW MUCH DO THE SANTA EXPERIENCES COST?

High Tea with Santa Experiences are:

Adult tickets (13 years or over): $70 (inc. GST and booking fees)

Children tickets (13 months – 12 years): $49 (inc. GST and booking fees)

Sensory High Tea with Santa Experiences are:

Adult tickets (13 years or over): $70 (inc. GST and booking fees)

Children tickets (13 months – 12 years): $49 (inc. GST and booking fees)

There is no charge for infants under the age of 12 months.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE SANTA EXPERIENCES?

Each ticket entitles the holder to a 90 minute session at The Tea Room (for High Tea with Santa) or a 45 minute session at the Tea Room (for Sensory High Tea with Santa), where you/your group will be served High Tea and will be invited to have a maximum of 2 photographs taken with Santa. Digital copies of your photographs will be available after your session.

DO YOU ACCOMMODATE GROUP BOOKINGS?

Yes. Santa Photography accommodates group bookings of up to 10 people. Please ensure you book each person under your Family / Surname so The Tea Room can try to accommodate your group at the same table.

IS THE SANTA EXPERIENCE ACCESSIBLE BY WHEELCHAIR?

Yes, The Tea Room QVB is fully wheelchair accessible. Speak to one of the friendly team members for assistance.

WHERE IS THE SANTA EXPERIENCE LOCATED?

The Santa experiences are hosted at The Tea Room QVB located on Level 3, Market Street end of the Queen Victoria Building from November 13 - December 24.

HOW ARE YOU COMPLYING WITH COVID-19 GUIDELINES?

The safety and wellbeing of our customers, retailers, team and community is our top priority. The Santa Experiences have been specially designed to comply with COVID-19 guidelines and your attendance is subject to COVID-19 requirements which are detailed in the Event Conditions. You can access the Event Conditions here.

The Tea Room also has a stringent COVID-Safety Plan in place which includes the following procedures and practices. These procedures are also regularly updated accordingly to the latest health advice:

· Covid-19 safe Hygiene Marshall on all operating shifts

· Ensures the venue will be set up as per the square metre restrictions in place at the time to support social distancing requirements

· Social distancing markers at the entrance to the venue

· Patrons will need to sign in via a QR code on arrival

· Displays hand sanitiser for customer and staff use with notices of the importance of hand washing around the venue

· All stations have sanitising surface spray and gloves to wipe all hard surfaces and chairs

· Increased cleaning of all surfaces in between each session

Additionally, safe social distancing signage will be displayed throughout room as well as in the Santa set and any other photo areas.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your allocated time slot. Meet at the check-in area located on Level 2, Market Street end of the Queen Victoria Building (under the Tea Room QVB).

WHERE DO I BEGIN MY SANTA EXPERIENCE?

Meet at the check-in area located on located on Level 2, Market Street end of the Queen Victoria Building (under the Tea Room QVB), to check-in before you head up to The Tea Room QVB to be seated at your table. There will be hosts available to assist with check-in – please present your booking QR confirmation on arrival.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK FOR MY SANTA EXPERIENCE?

The QVB Car Park located at 111 York Street Sydney. Take the Car Park elevator up to Level 2 then walk to the Market Street side of the building to meet at the check-in area.

WHAT IF I WANT TO CANCEL MY BOOKING?

You may request to cancel your booking by contacting us on the details below. If you request to cancel your booking 48 hours or more before your session time a full refund will be provided to the credit card that you used to make your booking.

WHAT IF I WANT TO CHANGE MY BOOKING?

You may request to reschedule your booking by contacting us using the details below. If you request to reschedule your booking 48 hours or more before your session time, you can reschedule to another available date or time, at no cost.

If you request to reschedule your booking less than 48 hours before your session time, your request will be refused, unless there are exceptional circumstances (which will be determined in our absolute discretion).

We reserve the right to re-schedule session times if necessary due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If we need to reschedule a session time, we will if practical notify you of the new session time 48 hours or more before your original session time. If you cannot attend the new session time, a full refund will be provided. We are not responsible for any other costs you might incur relating to the rescheduling of session times.

AM I ABLE TO TAKE PHOTOS ON MY CAMERA OR PHONE?

You may take your own photos of yourself and any other people including in your booking during the experience, including with Santa. You must not take photos of other people during the experience without their express consent. . We do ask you to be mindful of your time with Santa to ensure all families are able to enjoy their experience.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT FOR THE SANTA EXPERIENCES?

Any age is welcome to the QVB Santa Experiences. Tickets must be purchased by patrons 18 years or older. All children under 18 years must be accompanied by guardian or parent.

WILL THERE BE DIETARY OPTIONS FOR THE HIGH TEA?

Yes, The Tea Room QVB are able to offer the following options:

1. Standard High Tea

2. Gluten Free High Tea

3. Vegan High Tea

4. Nut Free High Tea

5. Vegetarian High Tea

Following your booking, please ensure you complete the questionnaire noting your/your group's dietary preferances.

All requests will need to be made ahead of your session time so The Tea Room chefs can pre-prepare.

WILL THERE BE A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER ON SITE?

Yes, a professional photographer will take a maximum of 2 photos of you/your group during your time in the Santa set.

WHEN CAN I ACCESS MY PHOTOGRAPHS?

The Santa experience allows you to not only capture your own images, but you will receive up to 2 digital images. The photo gallery will be accessible shortly after your session.

CAN I PURCHASE A PRINTED PHOTO?

Yes, you are able to download your photos and add them to a cart to print.

Alternatively, Memory Block will be located on Level 2 to print your photographs after your session.

DO YOU OFFER SENSORY SANTA?

Yes. The QVB has created Sensory Santa sessions that have been designed to facilitate the experience in a calm and considered environment before the centre opens.
